Missions
Missions are the fulfillment of the great commission found in Matthew 28:19-20:
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. (NIV)
By spreading the good news of Jesus Christ both in the United States and abroad CSC attempts to faithfully obey God's command.
Upcoming Mission Trips
Shiloh Children's Ranch

Be A Role Model
Spend time with a child or two
The purpose of Shiloh Christian Children's Ranch is to provide Christian homes for abused/neglected and other children and to meet the spiritual, emotional, educational, social and physical needs of each child. CSC sends a group of volunteers every thanksgiving break from Sunday through Tuesday to volunteer at the Shiloh Children’s Ranch. While we are there, we spend time with the kids, help the clean the houses, and do manual labor such as clearing fence lines, chopping wood, and clearing trees out.
Many of the children at Shiloh Children’s Ranch come from homes with few good role models. When CSCers go to Shiloh Children’s Ranch and interact with the children, they get to see first hand how young Christian men and women follow Jesus and conduct themselves in a Godly manner. By taking time to play and talk with these children we are able to show them Christ’s love firsthand.
Mexico
Anyone Can Make an Impact
Help give someone the gift of their own home.
The Mexico missions trip involves working with Casas por Cristos to build houses for needy families in Jaurez, Mexico. Each year CSC takes a group of students to build houses for two or three families.
The trip usually lasts about 8 days. Two days are spent driving to Juarez. Three days are spent building the houses. The first day of building involves laying the foundation and building the trusses and roof. The second day includes putting the walls and roof on the foundation. The last day is usually spent applying stucco and finishing up the interior. The next day we present the keys to families and dedicate the houses, then we begin the long drive home.
The CSC Mexcio trip is funded by the students going on the trip. They must pay for all the building materials used in the construction of the houses and food and gas for the entire trip. Multiple fundraisers are done throughout the year to help offset the costs for students but most of the money comes from their own pockets. This year, 56 people built 2-450 sq. ft. homes. Over the years, CSC has built 36 homes in Juarez.

Roseland Community Good News Day Care
The "Roseland Community Good News Day Care" Center offers free day care for children of single mothers, so they can continue their high school education. Ages of the children range from 6 months to 5 years old.
The men get to help with any number of different work projects that are going on at Roseland. They help build or fix anything that needs built or fixed. Last year CSC helped to build an indoor playground for the children and restored computers to be used for a computer lab.
The women spend their time helping out with the children at the day care center. They get to interact with the teenage mothers, feed the infants, and play with the kids.
